You choose the tile, we install it
We install tile only. We do not sell tile, and we have no showroom or warehouse.
We supply the installation materials: setting materials, grout, waterproofing membrane, trims as needed.
Choose your tile ahead of time with your designer, at a showroom or online. Have it delivered to your home, or we can pick it up. Any pickup arrangements and charges are agreed in advance.
Shower floors, niches and tiled details
A mosaic shower floor needs a product suitable for wet walking areas and a layout that works with the pan and drain. Smaller pieces can follow changes in slope, but that does not make every mosaic appropriate for every shower. Material, backing and manufacturer requirements need review before selection is finalized. We discuss drain cuts and perimeter edges together so the central pattern and its boundaries are planned as one installation.
Niches introduce several short surfaces and visible corners. The mosaic repeat should fit the recess with considered cuts, and exposed edges need an agreed trim or finishing detail. Shelf surfaces must shed water, and the waterproofing behind the tile must remain continuous around the niche. A decorative panel is never a substitute for a waterproofed assembly. Establish the niche position and dimensions before the main shower layout begins.
Accents can define a wall, frame a feature or provide a change of scale beside larger tile. Their thickness and pattern need to meet the surrounding finish intentionally. We review the junctions and proposed joint spacing before setting rather than discover a height difference midway through the wall. If your designer has specified a border or inset, share the drawings and actual product details so the dimensions can be checked against the room.
Mosaic materials, backing and careful layout
Mosaic can be porcelain, ceramic, glass or natural stone, with each product bringing its own installation and care requirements. Some pieces arrive on mesh-backed sheets; others use a face-mounted system or individual placement. We review those details alongside the intended floor or wall use. A product sold for a dry decorative wall should not be assumed suitable for a submerged or wet walking application simply because the pieces are small.
Glass may require particular setting materials and preparation to achieve the intended appearance. Natural stone variation needs consideration across the whole surface, with sealing and cleaning discussed where appropriate. Mixed materials can introduce different thicknesses or care needs. You choose and purchase the tile with your designer, a showroom or an online supplier; we review its installation requirements and supply the setting materials, grout, waterproofing membrane and trims as needed.
Sheet joints deserve as much attention as the joints inside each sheet. We check the pattern repeat and spacing across neighboring sheets so their boundaries do not become an unintended grid. Cuts at corners, outlets and drains need to preserve the rhythm where possible. A dry layout or sample review can help establish the intended result before setting. The selected product still guides the method; there is no single installation shortcut suitable for every mosaic.
Our installation process
Review the mosaic
We check the chosen product, backing, intended use and pattern alongside measurements and designer details. Cuts, trims and installation responsibilities are clarified before work begins.
Prepare the surface
Existing finishes within the scope are removed and the substrate prepared for the selected assembly. Surrounding finishes and the material access route are considered during protection.
Waterproof where required
Shower floors, niches and other agreed wet areas receive compatible membrane details. Shower pan testing happens before setting rather than relying on mosaic grout as waterproofing.
Plan sheets & cuts
We establish reference lines and check how sheets meet, including corner, drain and outlet cuts. Joint consistency and the pattern repeat guide the arrangement across the surface.
Set the mosaic
Suitable materials and product-specific methods are used to install the pieces. We check alignment and sheet boundaries throughout rather than treat the supplied sheet spacing as automatically correct.
Grout, clean & review
After required curing, joints and finishing details are completed. We review the installation, any recommended sealing and the appropriate care and return-to-use guidance with you.
Feature walls and kitchen backsplashes
A mosaic backsplash is often viewed at close range, where drifting rows or widened sheet joints become noticeable. Cabinets, counters and outlets set real boundaries for the pattern. We measure the whole run and establish reference lines before setting, including how the finish stops at open ends or continues behind a range. Tidy cuts and trims are part of the agreed scope, not a finishing question postponed until the sheets are already fixed.
Feature walls can cover a full surface or a defined accent area. The repeat should be checked against the wall dimensions and any surrounding larger tile. A pattern that works in a display sample may land differently around a window or recessed shelf. Share the intended coverage, product details and any designer drawings before quantities are finalized. We can discuss cut allowances and installation implications without selling the tile or asking you to visit a company showroom.
Cost & timeline
Mosaic installation pricing remains [mosaic installation price range] until the actual surface, product and pattern have been reviewed. Sheet construction, individual cuts, removal, preparation and wet-area requirements can all change the work involved. A small tiled area may still involve detailed layout and finishing. The estimate describes the installation and materials we supply; your chosen tile remains a separate purchase from your supplier.
The planned sequence remains [X–Y days] until access, tile availability and preparation are established. Have your tile delivered to the home, or discuss pickup with us; any pickup arrangements and charges are agreed in advance. Setting, grouting and required curing are included in the schedule rather than skipped to promise a quicker finish. For shower mosaics, membrane preparation and flood testing come before the tile hides the assembly.
